Had quite the busy weekend as we hit up Salem and Haunted Overload this last weekend. Salem always delivers and we were blessed with terrific weather. 6:00 am flights kind of whipped us out but we soldiered on and got to see everything that we wanted.
I do have to say that the highlight of this years trip was Haunted overloads night tour.
We also did the day tour just to relish in the art (and a couple were not up to the night tour Ha ha)
All I can say is WOW! If you have ever wanted to experience Halloween heaven, then this is the place.
I can not even discribe the feeling and atmosphere of this beautiful haunt. The actors, sound and lighting are all top notch and I really don't see anything in the future topping this event.
If it was ever on your mind that you might attend at some point, make it happen!
We've been to Salem twice. First trip was the weekend before Halloween way back in 2003 and the 2nd trip was mid-September 2014. We just love Salem and that entire section of MA (we spent a day in Rockport as well back in 2014). Haunted Overload does indeed look quite spectacular! Maybe someday.
ReplyDeleteYes Salem is fun and the colors this year were pretty outstanding. We had time to kill before our flight so we shot through Gloucester and rockport as well. Beautiful area.
DeleteWow definitely on my bucket list but the family, not so much. It just looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteIt took some time for me to get the rest of the crew on board as well, but they all loved it and wanted to go again, so you never know. Keep working on the family Haha.
