Deadwood pumpkin patch update 2018

Well after last years flood and disappointing crop, 2018 looks to be a better year
We received some white "ghost"pumpkins last fall from our neighbor and I saved the seeds
to give them a shot. They started out very slow but then took off and kind of took over the patch.
As of now I have probably a dozen, only 5 of them orange and the rest white. And the white ones are turning out to be monsters...and still growing! will have to wait till later in the fall for a final count because a lot of them are growing far out into the wetland and I don't feel like hiking through all of that- I will just wait and look for the glimpses of orange in the reeds!

  1. Wow - those are beauties! And you have a wetland?? You must attract some great birds.
